Spray yourself with water in the right places to cool off effectively
If a cold shower is not recommended in summer, spraying yourself with cool water can still be very effective if done in the right places. The ideal here is to concentrate on the pulse points (the pressure points where the blood vessels are flush with the closest). This will allow you to cool off and lower a body temperature experienced by the hot weather. So do not hesitate to run water for at least 10 seconds on the back of the neck, the inside of the elbows or the knees, the inside of the wrists or the back of your knees. You can also tie tea towels, scarves, or small towels soaked in cool water around your wrists, elbows, or knees. For big heat waves, you can even wet them and freeze them in a plastic bag!
